Stretch and Recover Reformer Classes
Self-care and wellbeing never felt so rewarding! Open to all levels of experience, our Stretch and Recover class is a slower-paced, mobility focused class to build strength in your joints, release tension in your fascia and muscles and help your body to feel rejuvenated and revitalised.
Stretching is important for injury prevention, aids in improving posture and alignment and reduces aches and pains. Not only that, when we incorporate stretching into Reformer, it allows time to slow the mind, focus on the breath and nurture the body.

Group Reformer Classes
Our small group Reformer Pilates classes are catered to a diverse range of abilities from beginners, to intermediates and advanced levels. Led by our skilled instructors, this engaging class utilises the Reformer to provide a comprehensive full body workout. The Pilates exercises you’ll experience aim to build core strength, flexibility, balance and overall body conditioning.
Our classes are designed to increase your muscle capability, allowing you to complete more challenging exercises and movements within the reformer studio and throughout your life. Our group classes accommodate individual needs, offering personalised attention and adjustments for all skill levels in a supportive and challenging environment.

Private 1:1 Reformer Classes
Are you new to Reformer or a little nervous to book into a group session? Don’t worry, we have you covered. In our one-on-one Reformer sessions, our experienced instructors are here to support your fitness pathway and to help you work towards your individual movement goals.
Whether you are rehabbing from an injury or surgery, are returning back to exercise after time away or just wanting a more personalised approach, our team will work closely with you to assess your unique needs and create a customised program that focuses on YOU.
With a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology and movement principles, our instructors focus on alignment, correct form and technique to help you achieve a healthy, strong body.

Mums N Bubs Reformer Classes
We understand the unique needs of Mums during this beautiful new journey through motherhood. Our postnatal Reformer classes are designed with Mum and Bub in mind. These classes are a great way to aid in post delivery recovery, support postnatal well-being and vitality and help Mums return to exercise. Each class is designed to be inclusive and flexible, allowing you to strengthen the precious bond with Bub whilst making new connections with other Mums.
We offer a holistic approach that nurtures your health and well-being, whilst rebuilding strength to the core and pelvic floor postpartum and supporting your body and mind to feel stronger.

After sustaining multiple injuries during her service, Kellie’s personal focus for health and fitness switched to a more ‘whole body’ holistic approach. She discovered Yoga and Reformer Pilates and began to incorporate these modalities into her weekly training regime to assist with her own rehabilitation journey. Through this time, she gained a new perspective of the bodies incredible ability to heal, and the deeper level of self-awareness she experienced through the mind, body, breath connection. Reformer Pilates particularly gave Kellie a sense of empowerment during her rehabilitation as she experienced deep healing in the physical body. It led her to undertake more training in 2019, as she completed close to 500 hours of Yoga training and went on to complete her Reformer Pilates training after that. She has been blessed to share yoga and pilates classes in studios and gyms throughout North Brisbane ever since, whilst still embarking on her own continuous path of learning, development and growth.
She believes that anybody can enjoy the benefits of Reformer and her teaching philosophy emphasises correct movement, alignment, postural awareness, injury prevention and management. Kellie loves sharing her knowledge and the many benefits of Pilates with her clients and witnessing their growth and change as they develop a strong connection to themselves. When she’s not sharing her passions, Kellie embraces her love for the outdoors, enjoying hiking, mountain biking and exploring with her family. She’s a Mum of two incredible sons who teach her every day the gifts of love, laughter and not to take life too seriously.

Instructing group fitness classes has been a dream of mine since I can remember! Now I have the opportunity to teach you reformer pilates!
As a firm believer that taking a holistic approach into our daily lifestyle is extremely beneficial, I fell upon reformer pilates to help my body heal and re-establish proper form and function on my current journey of dealing with chronic lower back pain and sciatica.
To me pilates is the healing component I believe everybody should factor into their lifestyle, to restore balance in the body so our bodily functions in disharmony can return back to their optimal function! Life is all about balance, and reformer pilates can definitely set this tone in your life.
My goal is to bring you to your optimal through total body engagement, core strengthening, enhancing flexibility and experiencing the mind-body connection, because this is what reformer pilates is all about! and of course, a bit of fun! I aim to fill all my reformer classes with energy so everyone walks out empowered!

I have always been active since I was a child and as an adult I was always drawn to the gym and group fitness classes. My favourite thing about being a group fitness instructor is seeing members of all ages and backgrounds move their bodies, challenging themselves and become a part of a team. I always strive to bring positive energy and help get those happy endorphins going along with a great workout 🙂
When teaching Reformer Pilates, I want to help members strengthen their core, move with awareness, assist with injury prevention so members know they can still move safely and get a full body workout.

I believe in a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle. My own experience has taught me that diet and exercise only does not lead to a well-balanced and healthy life. My ongoing study of yoga, Pilates, and my special interest in neuroscience, helped me to fully understand that I needed to change my thinking, breathing as well as making time to slow down and take time out to recharge.
As a qualified and experienced PT, Yoga and Pilates instructor I apply this holistic approach in all my teachings and have educated, motivated, challenged, and supported clients of all ages through their health journey to achieve their goals and overcome fear due to age related restrictions, after hip and knee surgery, pre- and post-natal.
I strongly believe that it is never too late to start if you accept where you are and are willing, committed and patient. I will be there all the way to support you.

Welcome to Pivotal Pilates, a reformer Pilates studio located in a multidisciplinary wellness centre along with Kallangur Chiropractic, Riverside Massage and V8 personal training. We believe that everybody has their own health journey. With the help of our expert Pilates instructors you will be able to enjoy the many benefits that Pilates has to offer including core stabilisation, improved strength, flexibility, coordination and balance (and so much more!). Our Studio offers a friendly, welcoming environment, with 45 minute group and private one-on-one classes and 6 reformers.
